The SLO® department at Cadmus Duhok along with a Dentist, Dr. Talal Yousif coordinated a dental health campaign, by providing a presentation to all of our students on dental hygiene including how to brush your teeth, how to maintain clean and healthy teeth, and preventative step. In addition, students watched a cartoon video illustrating visuals on how to brush one’s teeth properly and a physical demonstration by Dr. Talal and the students brushing model teeth. In the end, each child was given their own set of toothbrush and toothpaste, as a gift from Dr. Talal, which got the kids ecstatic! They couldn’t wait to rush home and brush their teeth!
