Cadmus International School was honored to have welcomed our distinguished guest for a light brunch, a tour of our campus and a detailed presentation of our SABIS^® teaching methodology and more. They were astonished by our highly equipped campus and the life the students have brought to it in such a short time span, being the first year we have been established. Our guest included Harvard graduate, Dr. Nesreen Barwari who is currently running the joint bachelor’s degree program in spatial planning between the University of Duhok and Germany. With her at the UOD, Payman Taher, scholarship program advisor and Dr. Maha Algabban, a lecturer for the department of engineering. Dr. Layla, head of the engineering department at Nawroz University and Amira Dawood, an engineer of tourism were also present. Coming from various educational backgrounds, these strong, influential women stated that not only were they delighted to see such a school and system in their city of Duhok, but that we as indeed left a positive mark for them as educators of the Dohuky community.
